The Australian women's team finished 15th out of 54 countries. Korea won by 17 shots from USA

Once again The NSW Women’s Open State Side Coached by Dennise Hutton wins for the second consecutive year
the Australian Team Championships in Victoria. "We prepared very well and it was very exciting to win again
especially as we lost Julia Boland to the team at the last moment. Julia is one of the country’s best amateur women

Dennise Hutton has been appointed National Coach.
The World Cup ( Espirito Santo) this the most prestigious of amateur teams events. It is in Argentina
2010. This is the first time a women has been appointed to this position.
Dennise takes the position that was held by greatly respected teaching professional Ian Triggs, coach of many
great players including Karrie Webb.
“It is a great honour and I am very excited about assisting our elite players to perform at their best.
It’s wonderful to be coaching all golfers from the beginner to the elite players. I just love golf and
helping people to play to their best and enjoy the game.”
NSW WINS INTERSTATE SERIES!
Team Captain, Julie Boland said "Put the win down to attitude and preparation" Dennise Hutton, who coached the
team, said "on paper we were not the strongest team, four of the six team members had not played in the interstate
series before, and with a new, female coach, but we had heart, team spirit and great preparation" A full report can

AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S INTERSTATE TEAMS MATCHES, FINAL ROUND
New South Wales upstaged Western Australia and a fast-finishing South Australia to win their second consecutive
Australian Women’s Interstate Teams Matches title at Peninsula Country Golf Club in Victoria. The team
comprised Rebecca Flood (c), Rebecca Blain, Sue Fairhurst, Nerida Gregory, Justine Lee, Allyce Watkinson and Olivia
Wilson. The Coach/Manager is Dennise Hutton and Team Assistant is Jane Searle.
